The challenge: Google Fonts & HMCT needed a typographically-led campaign that raises awareness about the impact that monoculture has on the loss of biodiversity. The solution: This campaign explores the connection between language and nature. Both are intricate systems that rely on the diversity of their parts. By using typography we wanted to illustrate the impact of monoculture on nature. Can you imagine a world where you could only use one word?
